Bob Christian, co-owner and director of our elite athlete training programs, spent 11 years in the NFL and serves as an associate coach and player mentor for the NFL combine prep program.
During his NFL career, he was a 2001 offensive MVP for the Atlanta Falcons. Other highlights include scoring the first touchdown in Carolina Panthers franchise history during the 1995 Hall of Fame game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars and serving as starting fullback for the 1998 NFC champion Atlanta Falcons. In fact, “Sports Illustrated” selected Bob as the top fullback in the NFL during the 1998 season and former Falcons coach Dan Reaves has referred to Bob as the best fullback he has ever coached. He won the Ed Block Courage award, and the Unsung Hero award, twice during his professional football career.
As a pro athlete, Bob had the opportunity to train as an athlete under some of the top coaches in the world, including strength and conditioning expert Al Miller (the Atlanta Falcons’ Director of Strength and Conditioning) and Olympic sprint coach Loren Seagraves. At the end of his career with the falcons, Bob's demonstrated competence and proficiency in strength & conditioning led to an offer to become the strength & conditioning director for an Atlanta area professional sports team which he declined to pursue other interests.
Bob’s NFL career began with the Chicago Bears (1992–1994). Then he was with the Carolina Panthers (1995–1996). And completed his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons (1997–2002).
