Tommy Christian, owner and director of training, is one of the top sports performance coaches operating in the Midwest. He is the former Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning for Northwestern University (2000–2002) and also the former starting inside linebacker for the Wildcats under Coach Gary Barnett (1992). During his playing career at Northwestern he was the top Iron Cat point winner for his combination of speed, strength, explosiveness, and stamina.
With a degree in mechanical engineering from NU, Tommy has an extraordinary ability to assimilate data, analyze it logically, and combine it with the knowledge he’s acquired from his own experience in sports to create results-driven training programs.
For the past seven years he has lead the Northwestern University football team’s speed development program, achieving a resume of experience & results that are unmatched in the Chicagoland area. In addition, he consults with the strength & conditioning staff to assist in speed development of all the university’s athletic programs. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Coach Christian also holds the Etcheberry Certification for Tennis.
